  • Information Governance Toolkit Information Evening
      Dear All,

As you may already know, NE London LOC have been engaged in talks with reps from all four NE London Clinical  Commissioning Groups, in order to discuss the role of Primary Eye care and community ophthalmic services in the area. We anticipate that if opportunities arise, practices participating in any future community services will be required to complete an Information Governance Toolkit.

Waltham Forest practices currently providing the Minor Eye conditions Service will have already completed this Information Governance Toolkit.

It is anticipated that B&D practices will in time receive information regarding a Glaucoma Referral Refinement Scheme pilot project in conjunction with Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Completion of the toolkit is also required when applying for an NHS.net email address which may also be required for future referrals from community services.

In order that practices can adequately prepare to participate in future community service opportunities, NELLOC and ELCLOC are jointly pleased to confirm that we are running an Information Governance Toolkit Information Evening on Monday 5th June, 6.30pm – 9pm.
This event will take place in Room 217, Arts Two Building, Queen Mary’s University, Mile End Road.

If you would like to attend the workshop on 5th June, please click here .

If you have any questions regarding the workshop or wish to advise of any dietary requirements, please email Michelle at michelle@jclconsulting.co.uk stating your name and practice details, or telephone the office on 020 3876 4930.

Best Wishes,
Jig Joshi
Chair NE London LOC
